We fit car and van tyres at 177 North Station Road, usually while you wait. The price on this page is the fitted price: it includes the tyre, fitting, balancing, a new valve and taking the old one away, and it includes VAT. There is nothing added at the counter.

Questions we get asked
Where do I find my tyre size?
On the sidewall of the tyre you already have. It reads something like 195/65 R15 91H. The first three numbers are the width, then the profile, then the wheel size. Send us a photo of it if you would rather not write it down.
Is the price on this page really what I pay?
Yes, for a budget tyre in that size. It includes fitting, balancing, a new valve, disposal of the old tyre and VAT. If you want a mid range or premium tyre it costs more, and we will tell you the difference before we start.
Can you repair my puncture instead of replacing the tyre?
Often, yes, and it is £20. A puncture in the middle of the tread can usually be repaired. Damage to the sidewall, or a tyre that has been driven on flat, cannot be repaired safely and we will not pretend otherwise.
Can I wait while the work is done?
For tyres, punctures and most small jobs, yes. For anything that needs the car up on the ramp for a while, ring first and we will tell you honestly how long it will be.
Do you do MOTs?
No. We are not an MOT test station, so we cannot do the test itself. What we do is everything a car fails on, and everything that comes up as an advisory: brakes, tyres, suspension, exhausts, corrosion and welding. Bring us the failure sheet and we will tell you what it costs to put right.
