Cookies
One cookie to remember your choice, and two more only if you say yes.
The site sets one cookie on everybody, to remember what you chose on the cookie banner. It sets Google Analytics cookies only if you accept analytics. Nothing is set for advertising.
The cookies
myconsent remembers your choice on the banner, so that it does not ask on every page. It is strictly necessary and lasts up to 13 months.
_ga and _ga_EQYG2GK55W are Google Analytics. They are set only if you accept analytics, and they let Google Analytics tell one visit from another. Google sets them for two years; browsers cut that to 13 months or less.
WordPress login cookies are set only for the people who manage the site, which is only us.
Other things kept in your browser
After you send the enquiry form, the confirmation page makes a note in that browser tab that your enquiry has been counted, so that refreshing the page does not count it twice. It holds only a reference number and goes when you close the tab.
If the banner cannot reach our server at the moment you make your choice, it keeps the choice in your browser and sends it on your next visit.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page. Turning analytics off stops anything more going to Google from the next page on. To remove cookies that are already set, clear them in your browser's settings.
The banner also has a marketing option. Nothing on this site uses it today. If that changes, this page will change first.
