Ring and we will tell you when we can get to you
If your car will not start or is not safe to drive, ring us. We recover vehicles in Colchester and the surrounding area and bring them back to our workshop at 177 North Station Road, where we can then look at what is wrong.
We are not a 24 hour roadside rescue service and we do not want to pretend to be one. Recovery runs during our normal opening hours, Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 18:00. Outside those hours you need a breakdown provider, and if you have not got one, the honest answer is that we cannot come out until we open.

If you are on a fast road, get out and stand well away from the car, behind a barrier if there is one.

Tell us where you are and what the car is doing. We will tell you honestly whether we can get to you and when.

We bring it in
The car comes back to the workshop on North Station Road rather than being left where it is.

Once it is here we can tell you what is wrong and what putting it right costs.

Questions we get asked
Do you recover 24 hours a day?
No. Recovery runs during our opening hours only, Monday to Saturday between 08:00 and 18:00. Outside those hours you will need a breakdown provider such as the AA, RAC or Green Flag, or whoever your insurer uses. We would rather tell you that now than have you waiting at the roadside for someone who is not coming.
How far do you come out?
Colchester and the surrounding area. Ring us with where you are and we will tell you straight away whether it is somewhere we can reach.
Where does my car go?
Back to our workshop at 177 North Station Road, so that we can look at it. We do not recover vehicles to other addresses.
What does recovery cost?
It depends on where you are and what state the vehicle is in, so we will not put a number on this page that we might not be able to stand behind. Ring us and we will tell you before we set off.
