AMD Tyres, Brakes and Service is an independent garage at 177 North Station Road, between Colchester town centre and the station. We fit tyres while you wait, repair punctures, do brakes, servicing, diagnostics, exhausts and welding, and we recover vehicles locally back to the workshop.
We are open Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 18:00. Ring us and you will speak to the people doing the work.

We are on North Station Road, the main road between the town centre and Colchester station. If you are coming off a train it is a short walk.
There are tyres racked outside and the sign says Tyres, Brakes and Service, so you will not drive past it twice.

Questions we get asked
Do you do MOTs?
No. We are not an MOT test station, so we cannot do the test itself. What we do is everything a car fails on, and everything that comes up as an advisory: brakes, tyres, suspension, exhausts, corrosion and welding. Bring us the failure sheet and we will tell you what it costs to put right.

Can I wait while the work is done?
For tyres, punctures and most small jobs, yes. For anything that needs the car up on the ramp for a while, ring first and we will tell you honestly how long it will be.
